Youngstown cancels July 4 fireworks

YOUNGSTOWN — Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the city has canceled its July 4 fireworks celebration.

Mayor Jamael Tito Brown said: “Although we are saddened to have to cancel this year’s fireworks display, we believe the health of the citizens of Youngstown is of the utmost importance.”
