AUSTINTOWN — A fight broke out around 2:45 a.m. Saturday outside of Shotz Bar, 3713 Oakwood Ave., where a large crowd was gathered.

One person was reportedly knocked unconscious during the altercation, according to police call records. A caller estimated 20 people were involved in the fight.

Police separated the large gathering, and no one wanted to pursue charges, according to a police report. The report went on to say that since the bar reopened following the COVID-19 shutdown, there has been “an abundant amount of people gathering at this location with officers responding to multiple disturbances at this bar.”

In an unrelated incident that happened at about the same time, a window and the front door was broken out at AT&T on Mahoning Avenue. Officers were unable to contact store personnel to determine if merchandise or money was stolen.
