Man riding motorcycle shot in arm on South Side
YOUNGSTOWN — A man, 20, riding a motorcycle on the South Side at 9:34 p.m. Friday reported he was shot in the arm.
Police spoke with the man in the St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital emergency room, where he was in stable condition.
He said he was riding his motorcycle and heard a gunshot, then felt something in his arm and realized he had been shot. He said he drove to his aunt’s house in the city, and a friend drove him to the hospital from there.
The victim said he did not know who would want to shoot him and thinks he got “caught in the crossfire.”
