Man found shot in the neck on South Side
YOUNGSTOWN — A city man, 26, was in critical condition Wednesday after being shot in the neck in the 400 block of West Ravenwood Avenue on the South Side.
When police arrived for the 8:41 p.m. Tuesday call, they found the victim in a car with an apparent gunshot wound of the neck. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, and police called out detectives and crime-scene personnel.
It was the second day in a row a man suffered a gunshot wound on the South Side. A man, 38, reported being shot in the leg on Hillman Street near St. Louis Avenue at 3:23 p.m. Monday. The victim said he was shot by someone in a car while walking on the street.
