WHAT: Liberty Township trustees meeting Monday evening.

PRESENT: Greg Cizmar, Arnie Clebone and Devon Stanley

Trustees:

l Promoted Firefighter Justin Graham to the rank of lieutenant, Lt. Phil Lucarell to the rank of captain and Capt. Cathy Macchione to the rank of captain/inspector in the Liberty Township Fire Department. The swearing-in ceremony and celebration of the promotions of firefighters will occur at a public meeting after the Ohio Department of Public Health lifts the order prohibiting mass gatherings in the state of Ohio;

l Approved a three-year extension of the contract between the Liberty Township Board of Trustees and the International Association of Firefighters Local 2075, extending the existing contract on the same terms and conditions through Dec. 31, 2022;

l Awarded the 2020 resurfacing program to Lindy Paving in the amount of $905,512.30;

l Announced that the next evening meeting April 20, at 6:30 p.m.; the 7:30 a.m. business meeting has been canceled for this week.
