Manning introduces air base resolution
COLUMBUS — State Rep. Don Manning, R-New Middletown, introduced a resolution urging the U.S. Department of Defense to select the Youngs-town Air Reserve Station in Vienna as the home for four new C-130J aircraft.
YARS is one of two finalists — along with Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado — for the aircraft. There is no timeline for the final decision.
