Crews called to Liberty salon fire

LIBERTY — A fire early Sunday morning at a hair salon in the township is under investigation.

Reports state firefighters were called out around 3:30 a.m. to Shelley’s Hair and Nail, 316 Churchill Hubbard Road, where heavy smoke was seen coming from the building.

Crews from Brookfield and Hubbard assisted Liberty, according to the report. It took about an hour to get the fire under control. The cause of the fire is unknown.
