Copper reported stolen from homes

AUSTINTOWN — Copper piping was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Edgehill Avenue and another home in the block of 100 Kimberly Avenue.

An employee for Equity Management told police that sometime between Monday and Thursday, someone entered a property on Kimberly and stole copper and a faucet. The employee said it was possible that someone got access to a lock box.

On Wednesday, a man renovating a property on Edgehill told police that someone stole an unknown amount of copper piping from the basement. A screen was popped out and window broken, and the front door of the building unlocked, according to the police report.
