Aggravated assault on woman leads to jail time
YOUNGSTOWN — Devon Mims, 28, was sentenced to 180 days in the Mahoning County Justice Center on Tuesday after pleading guilty to aggravated assault on a female.
Judge Maureen Sweeney of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court gave him credit for 152 days already served, leaving him with 28 more days in jail. He also will be on probation five years, according to court records.
