Rollover crash in Vienna injures two

Staff report

VIENNA– Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries Saturday afternoon after a rollover crash in Vienna Township.

That crash happened at 5:27 p.m. on Warren Sharon Road near Starr Manufacturing. Warren Sharon Road was closed for about 80 minutes following the accident.

A Chevrolet Blazer, driven by Rhiannon Wade, 18, of Youngstown, was northbound on Niles Vienna Road when it failed to stop at the stop sign before turning left onto Warren Sharon Road, striking a Kia Forte driven by Charlene Croyle, 34, of Vienna. Croyle had two passengers with her in the car.

The force of the accident then caused Wade’s vehicle to roll over onto its side, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. Erik Golias. She was not injured. Croyle and one of her passengers were taken the hospital with minor injuries; her other passenger was not harmed.

Wade was cited with failure to yield from the stop sign.
