Police academy to hold graduation
YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy will have a graduation ceremony 6:30 p.m. today at Choffin Career and Technical Center, 200 W. Wood St.
Enrollees have completed a nine-week course in various areas that included patrol ride-a-longs with officers. The class commander is former detective Sgt. Delphine Baldwin-Casey. Police Chief Robin Lees is also expected to address the graduates. Also, a brief police dog demonstration will be held at 6 p.m.
