Elections board sets new date for recount meeting
YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Board of Elections has rescheduled its meeting to recount races that would go to an automatic recount to Dec. 4.
The board had originally scheduled the meeting for Dec. 3. The board is meeting next Monday to count provisional ballots and certify the election results. Races within one-half of 1 percent would be subject to an automatic recount, which will be held Dec. 4. There are currently four races within that margin of victory.
