Dine and dashers rack up $90 bill
AUSTINTOWN — One man was issued a summons for theft after he and two others left Denny’s restaurant on Mahoning Avenue on Tuesday afternoon without paying a $90 bill for their meals, according to a police report.
Austin C. Chance, 27, 182 Scott St., Warren, was arrested for theft around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday after the other man and woman he was dining with left the restaurant.
The trio finished their entrees and then attempted to leave after ordering more food to go. Chance told restaurant management that he’d forgotten his wallet and the other two suspects said they would go get it. When they did not return, police were called.
