PRESENT: Eric Ungaro, Edward Kempers and Joanne Wollet
Trustees:
• Adopted the solid waste management plan being used by Mahoning County.
• Approved a nuisance notice for the following addresses due to overgrown vegetation, garbage refuge, personal property, junk motor vehicles and other debris: 3693 Polo Blvd., 3681 Polo Blvd., 8617 Polo Court, 8609 Polo Court, 8601 Polo Blvd., 3698 Polo Blvd. and 3446 Center Road.
• Richard Wroblewski, of 7376 Elmland Ave., voiced his concern about flooding in his yard due to his belief that the road was raised when crews repaired it; Matt Marrone, of Timberbrooke Trail proposed renovating the entrance sign of the neighborhood.
•Approved the Poland Township Police Department as the drop-off site for Toys for Tots.
• Approved Halloween hours for 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31;
•Accepted a letter of resignation from police officer Josh Kozic effective Oct. 11.
• Approved the installation of equipment for a new police car for an amount not to surpass $7,500.
• Received a request from the Poland Township Park that a new park pamphlet be added to its website.
