Toppled machine slows I-80 traffic
LIBERTY — Just before 8 a.m. Monday on Interstate 80, a small excavator fell off a pickup truck, bringing traffic down to one lane.
The truck was traveling westbound, near state Route 11. The driver said he lost control and the excavator rolled off the trailer.
No injuries were reported and both the excavator and the back of the pickup truck were damaged.
