Man hospitalized with stab wound
YOUNGSTOWN — A Rosewood Lane man, 46, was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital with a stab wound he suffered while walking on Byron Street on the East Side at 1 a.m. Monday.
The victim said two young males took about $120 from him before stabbing him in the lower right chest and then fleeing.
The males had corn-row style hair. One was wearing a yellow shirt, the other a black shirt.
A St. Elizabeth’s interpreter helped police interview the victim because he did not speak English.
