Hubbard schools ask parents for feedback

HUBBARD — The Hubbard school district is looking for help from elementary and middle school parents and guardians as it develops a school travel plan.

The Safe Routes to School Program promotes walking and bicycling to school. The district is hoping to eliminate barriers that may prevent students from engaging in active transportation to and from school.

To finalize its plan, and potentially receive grant funding to increase the efficiency and safety of the walking and biking routes, the district is asking parents and guardians to complete a survey that will allow ODOT to understand the specific needs of the school district.

The survey will take five to 10 minutes to complete. Responses will be kept confidential.

The survey is found at www.hubbard.k12.oh.us/post/survey-school-travel-plan.
