YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the man found Oct. 17 shot inside of a vehicle parked on Norwood Avenue on the North Side as George Grays, 62.

Officers removed Grays from the vehicle and performed life-saving measures, but he died, according to a Youngstown police press release. He had been shot multiple times, and police consider his death to be a homicide.

An autopsy will be conducted and the incident remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the Youngstown Police Department, according to a press release from the coroner’s office.
