Etheridge, Stone coming to Packard

Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone will team up for an April 21, 2025, concert at Packard Music Hall.

Etheridge is a two-time Grammy Award winner (with 15 nominations), and she also won an Academy Award for best original song for “I Need to Wake Up” from the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.” She has released five platinum and multi-platinum selling albums in the U.S., and her radio hits include “I’m the Only One,” “Come to My Window,” “Bring Me Some Water” and “I Want to Come Over.”

Stone received a Grammy nomination for best new artist in 2005 and won two years later for best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals for “Family Affair,” a collaboration with John Legend and Van Hunt. She had seven top 40 hits in her native England and has sold more than 14 million records worldwide.

She teamed with Etheridge in 2005 on a cover of the Janis Joplin hits “Cry Baby” and “Piece of My Heart.”
