Steve Kent sentenced to year in prison
YOUNGSTOWN – Steve Kent, the fired former Poland Township police officer who also was removed as Austintown trustee after he was convicted of felony tampering with evidence, was sentenced today to serve one year in prison.
Kent, 54, of Starwick Drive, Canfield, was convicted Aug. 14 before Judge John Durkin of Mahoning Common Pleas Court.
