STRUTHERS – Gov. Mike DeWine today appointed Jennifer J. Ciccone, the Republican candidate for Struthers Municipal Court judge, to the open court seat.

Ciccone’s appointment will start Oct. 6.

She is replacing Dominic R. Leone III, whose retirement is effective today.

Ciccone of Poland will face Democrat James Melone of Poland in the Nov. 7 general election. Melone beat Leone in the Democratic primary by 14.6 percent.
