NILES -- An autopsy Wednesday on the severely decomposed body recovered from the Mosquito Creek on Sunday identified the body as a male, with an arm tattoo and a metal implant in a hand.
According to Niles police, the manás race not conclusively determined but is possibly caucasian or bi-racial.
The likely age range based on skeletal indicators appears to be in the upper teens or 20s.
A tattoo that was partially intact on the maleás upper right arm. Niles police have circulated an image of the tattoo as authorities work on an identification.
The forensic pathologist also reported the presence of a metallic implant in the maleás right hand, apparently from some surgery during his life.
