Southern rockers Molly Hatchet will play the Robins Theatre on July 28.

The bandás first three albums — “Molly Hatchet” (1978), “Flirtin’ with Disaster” (1979) and “Beatin’ the Odds” (1980) — each sold more than million copies and the second went double-platinum.

In the current lineup, John Galvin, keyboards and backing vocals, and Bobby Ingram, lead guitar and backing vocals, have been with the band the longest, joining in 1984 and 1987, respectively.

Local act The Fillbillys will open the 8 p.m. show. Tickets range from $30 to $55 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Robins box office and online at robinstheatre.com.
