Mon. 10:27 a.m.: Wetzel, Boyz II Men booked for Canfield Fair
CANFIELD — Koe Wetzel and Boyz II Men will the grandstand entertainers for the Canfield Fair.
Wetzel, performing on Sept. 3, has had three gold-certified singles — “February 28, 2016,” “something to talk about” and “drunk driving” — and has tallied more than 1.3 billion streams in his career.
“He’s been tearing through the country, selling out arenas, selling out fairgrounds,” said Ken Bigley, vice president of JAC Live, which book the entertainment for the fair.
Tickets for Wetzel range from $26.50 to $92.
Closing the fair on Sept. 4 will be Boyz II Men.
The R&B act has won four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards, three Billboard Awards and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The vocal group has sold more than 64 million albums on the strength of such hits as “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” “One Sweet Day” and “Motownphilly.”
Tickets range from $32 to $96.50
Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday online only through Ticketmaster. Tickets also will be available at the fairgrounds at a later date to be announced.
