YOUNGSTOWN – City police have identified the victim in what appears to be Youngstown’s latest homicide that occurred Saturday afternoon in the area of Market Street and East Philadelphia Avenue.

According to a news release, the dead man was identified as Darnell N. Jackson, 20.

Officers found a vehicle that drove onto the sidewalk at the intersection on Saturday. The vehicle had multiple bullet holes in it, according to police reports.

Officers discovered a dead man in the driver’s seat.
