YOUNGSTOWN — The body found in a wooded area off of North Truesdale Avenue on the East Side on Thursday has been identified as missing 14-year-old boy Landon Lockhart of Parkwood Avenue.

The Youngstown Police Department issued a news release today saying the death is a homicide.

The body was identified as being that of Lockhart by using fingerprint records, the release states. Lockhart had been missing since Nov. 21, and the police department re-released his photo and information about him being missing last week.
