Mon. 3:10 p.m.: Rep. Tim Ryan tests positive for COVID-19
U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan announced today that he tested positive for COVID-19 and is quarantining at his home in Howland.
Ryan said he is “experiencing mild symptoms” and is “grateful to have the protection of a safe and effective vaccine” because “without it, this illness could be much, much worse.”
Ryan, a Democrat, said he tested negative for the virus three times in the past 10 days before today’s positive test result.
Ryan said he’ll continue his congressional duties from home by voting remotely.
