YOUNGSTOWN -- Franklin B. Clark Jr., 51, accepted a plea agreement today, pleading guilty to multiple counts of rape and other sex crimes and was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.
Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court accepted Clark’s guilty pleas and sentenced him. Prosecutors said Clark raped four children, three of them under age 10 at the time of the offenses.
The crimes took place between 2014 and 2019 in Youngstown. Clark had been scheduled for trial this morning.
