BOARDMAN – A juvenile girl was one of two people injured in the weekend shooting at a township apartment complex, according to Boardman police.

The other victim was a male. No ages have been released for either.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Stadium Drive near Salinas Trail, behind Boardman Plaza, shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two people, a male and a female, went to the hospital by private vehicle, police said Monday.

Bullets struck a nearby apartment building. Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, an arm of the the Ohio Attorney General, is assisting with the investigation.
