Juveniles ID’d by police in break in, charges coming

LIBERTY — Township police have identified the two males who broke into Jimmy’s Italian Specialties on Sunday night.

Police reports state the two, late-teen juveniles broke into the store at 3230 Belmont Ave. about 3:50 a.m. and stole various items. Wednesday afternoon, officers were able to identify the teens and will be pursuing charges through the Trumbull County Juvenile Court.

Liberty police Capt.Ray Buhala said the two are not in custody, but a warrant will be requested for their arrest.

“We shared it on our social media, received a pretty good tip and we were able to identify them and prosecute them with a warrant through the juvenile court,” Buhala said.

The warrants will be for breaking and entering and theft, Buhala added.
