New Middletown police officer pleads guilty to drunken driving
BOARDMAN — New Middletown police officer Brooke E. McCon, 26, pleaded guilty to drunken driving and was sentenced to three days in jail or a driver’s intervention program.
McCon entered the guilty plea on Thursday — prior to her scheduled arraignment date, which was to be 9:30 a.m. today.
McCon was placed on unpaid administrative leave after the April 9 crash on Interstate 680 in Boardman that resulted in McCon being charged with drunken driving. She refused field sobriety tests.
