School bus involved in Liberty crash

LIBERTY — Authorities are at the scene this morning at a traffic crash at Belmont Avenue and Tibbetts Wick Road involving a school bus that rolled onto its side.

A black SUV was also involved in the accident, according to Trumbull County 911 reports.

There were children in the school bus, according to the 911 report, and everyone was out of the bus by 8:20 a.m.

Some of the children were injured, but the report did not say how seriously. A Liberty police officer said the injured were taken from the bus and put onto an ambulance to be transported to a hospital.

There were more ambulances called to the scene, the 911 report states, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
