Tue. 11:28: Boardman man chosen to take reins of Akron Children’s-Mahoning

BOARDMAN — Akron Children’s Hospital has named a man from Boardman with more than 25 years of health care experience to lead Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

Paul N. Olivier has taken over as vice president for the market for Sharon Hrina, who retired Oct. 2 after a 52-year career in health care, including the last 15 at Akron Children’s.

Olivier will oversee all aspects of Akron Children’s robust operational footprint in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties, including pediatric and specialty care and the Beeghly campus on Market Street, Boardman.

His first day was Monday.

Read tomorrow’s print edition of the The Vindicator or online at www.vindy.com for more on Olivier.
