DeWine orders senior centers, daycares to close
COLUMBUS – Gov. Mike DeWine has issued executive orders effective at the end of business Monday to close all senior citizen centers and daycare facilities for seniors because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
DeWine said food programs at senior centers will provide meals delivered to people.
Also, the Ohio Department of Insurance issued an order today that insurers must permit employers to continue covering employees under group health insurance policies even if the worker isn’t eligible for coverage because of a decrease in hours. Premium payments can be deferred for up to 60 days interest free.
