Rates rise for 1st time in 6 weeks

Ohio saw an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents for the first time in six weeks. The 410.5 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents for the period between Oct. 28 and Wednesday is up from 354.3 cases per 100,000 last week, according to Ohio Department of Health data provided Thursday. Ohio tops 5,000 daily cases

After experiencing a recent decline in COVID-19 cases, Ohio exceeded 5,000 in a single day for the first time in nearly a month. Wednesday, 5,527 COVID-19 cases were reported, according to the Ohio Department of Health. It’s the most cases reported for a single day since Oct. 14, which had 5,648 cases.
