BLOCK PARTY: The Neighborhood will have its signature summer celebration The Block Party 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the B&O Station and the newly renovated Spring Commons Park. Admission is $10 at the door or pay-what-you-want through the Neighborhoods website at theneighborhoodevents.com This is the eighth year for the event, which has become a cornerstone of Youngstown's summer calendar. The event includes live music and performances, bands, comedians, a flea market with small businesses and food trucks.
POPUP SKATE PARK: A Pop-up skate park event for families will be 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln Park, 301 Lincoln Drive, Youngstown. The community-focused initiative will bring action sports opportunities to neighborhoods throughout Youngstown. The free event will temporarily transform a portion of city parks property into a skatepark designed for skateboarding for riders of all skill levels. Children under age 14 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Children under age 3 are not permitted to participate.
HUBBARD FEST: Hubbard Community Fest will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Roosevelt Student Wellness Center. There will be a parade at 10 a.m. and a pageant at 11 a.m, a kids zone, food court, vendors, deejay, bands, presentations and displays of Hubbard families.
