TEAM VOLUNTEERS: The Oakhill Research Volunteer team is recruiting volunteers that are experienced in research in ancestry.com, find a grave and do family research. Training is available for people that want to learn how to do research.
The Oakhill Research Volunteers do research profiles on people buried at Oakhill Cemetery; answer questions on family members buried at Oakhill Cemetery; replace headstones for faded veteran's headstones; War-era profiles and information on veterans buried at Oakhill; Burial cards, collecting profiles in sections of the cemetery; and put flags down before Memorial Day.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT: Smith Corners Community Church,will have its final Family Fun Night of the summer from 5 to 8 p.m. today at 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road in Austintown. There will be hayrides, games, inflatables, and a potluck picnic meal from6 to 7 p.m. The Solo Six String Full ThrottleGospel will perform at 7 p.m. The event is free to the public.
NIGHT MARKET: The Struthers farmers' markets will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at 130 S Bridge St., Struthers, which is situated directly behind Selah Restaurant.
Visitors can expect to find fruits and vegetables, fresh baked goods, specialty foods, meats, poultry, eggs, maple syrup, honey, plants, cut flowers, and artisan handmade crafts.
ALUMNI REUNION: The 51st annual South High School Alumni Reunion will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 19, at the Immaculate Conception Heart of Mary Parish in Austintown. Invitations have been sent.

MEETING CANCELED: The weekly meeting held by the Mahoning County Veterans Service Commissioners will be cancelled for Tuesday and again Sept. 8, due to the Canfield Fair. NOMINATIONS: Nominations for Youngstown CityScape's 20th annual Beautification Awards are now being accepted.
Is there one beautiful yard that always catches your eye? Is there a neighborhood group or organization that has cleaned and brightened community space? Has one business really pulled out the stops and made a visible difference?
If you know a neighbor, a business, or a youth within the city limits of Youngstown, who has taken time to clean, green, and care for their home, place of business, or an area, nominate them! Leading nominees will be honored at a special event.
The submission deadline is Sept. 4.
