FUNDRAISER BENEFIT: A Youngstown family will be hosting a fundraiser benefit 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday for Raffaele Mediati, who is battling a rare medical complication, white cord syndrome, leaving him a quadriplegic.
To help offset medical and care expenses, the family is hosting the fundraiser Sunday at the St. Luke Church hall in Youngstown. To help, call 330-506-2332.
OGS MEETING: The Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the ministry building at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman. The guest speaker is Roslyn Torella, who will present “Using ChatGPT and AI Tools for Genealogy.”
Refreshments will be served. The public is invited.
BINGO NIGHT: The Girard Free Library will host family bingo night at 6 p.m. Monday. All ages are welcome.
A jewelry-making workshop will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday at the library, where participants will make beaded flower necklaces. Materials will be provided. Registration is required for both programs at 330-545-2508.
