AUSTINTOWN — Annual Fourth of July parade at noon Thursday begins at the corner of Kirk and Raccoon roads and ends at Austintown Middle School.
CANFIELD — Annual Fourth of July parade begins at 10:10 a.m. Thursday from the Canfield Fairgrounds, proceeding along South Broad Street and around the green. After the parade, there will be children’s games and bounce-arounds, and an antique car show.
YOUNGSTOWN — Fireworks, activities and food trucks from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at Wean Park, 201 S. Phelps St., followed by a fireworks display.
Trumbull County
FOWLER — In recognition of the canceled Fowler Memorial Day ceremony, it has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the township green by the Veterans Memorial. Vienna VFW Post 3521 will perform the ceremony.
GUSTAVUS — The 102nd annual Gustavus Homecoming will be Thursday at the township park at state Routes 87 and 193. The parade begins at 10 a.m. Petting zoo is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cornhole tournament, tot king and queen contest, kiddie tractor pull and kids turtle races will follow the parade at the township park. There also will be food vendors, a basket raffle and games at the park.
HOWLAND — Fourth of July celebration with parade at 10 a.m. Thursday along East Market Street. Entertainment and food will begin at 11 a.m. at Richard Orwig Park and the high school parking lot
NEWTON FALLS — Fourth of July festival Sunday to Thursday at the village park The carnival and carnival concessions will open at 2 p.m Sunday. Family Night is Sunday with games, DJ and face painting. Events open at 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Parade will be 10 a.m. Thursday along West Broad Street. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. Thursday at the park.
NILES — Parade will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from Niles McKinley High School and travel along Main Street from Federal and State streets in downtown Niles. Classic car show and craft fair 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Niles SCOPE Center building and parking lot, with food vendors and children’s bounce house.
NILES — Fireworks for Niles Appreciation Night Thursday at Eastwood Field in Niles following the Mahoning Valley Scrappers vs. West Virginia Black Bears at Eastwood Field, which starts at 7:05 p.m. Following the game, there will music and children’s activities. For ticket vouchers, contact the mayor’s office or the Niles Wellness Center.
WARREN — Fireworks following Packard Band Fourth of July spectacular 8 p.m. Thursday at the south lawn band shell, Mahoning Avenue.
