Students feted for athletic abilities
HUBBARD — Four high school students were honored for their athletic abilities at a March 18 Board of Education meeting.
Emily Flynn,17, and Nick Bowser,17, both headed to state for the wrestling competition. Bowser placed 4th in the heavyweight division at the tournament and Flynn placed 6th in the 130-pound weight class.
Garrett Brajkovich,17, took the 49th place at the bowling championship.
Gabe Hamrock, 17, was honored for breaking the squatting state record, with a squat weight of 507 pounds.
