Austintown church to install new pastor
AUSTINTOWN — Redeemer Lutheran Church of Austintown, 2305 S. Canfield Niles Road, is welcoming the arrival of its new pastor, Dale R. Krienke, who will be installed at 3 p.m. Sunday.
The service will be led by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod’s Ohio North Central District Circuit and Visiting pastor, the Rev. Doug Riley, from Tallmadge Lutheran Church, with the installation performed by Ohio District President the Rev. Dr. Kevin Wilson and contributions from several local LCMS pastors.
Raised on a dairy farm in Winsted, Minn., Krienke brings his new congregation a rich history of service, education and faith.
Krienke graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in media / journalism in 2006, receiving a master’s in divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in 2023.
Krienke said he is eager to continue the traditions of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church and engage with the community. Krienke will assume his role following the retirement of Pastor David Schinbeckler, who has served the church and community for many years.
