EASTER GIVEAWAY: East Side Crimewatch is holding an Easter giveaway 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at corner of Oak and Fruit streets in Youngstown. There will be women's hats, shoes and purses.

SILENT AUCTION: The Friends of the Hubbard Public Library will host a silent auction with food baskets. All money raised supports the programs offered at the library. The auction will run through March 31. Participants must be 18 or older to bid in increments of $5 and can bid as often as they wish. There are more than 40 items in the prize baskets. The winning bid takes both baskets. Hubbard Save A Lot provided $40 in certificates for the baskets.
SPRING CLEANUP: St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, 3900 Villa Marie Road, Lowellville, will hold spring cleanup in March. Cleanup will include all Christmas and other decorations that don't comply with rules and regulations. Decorations need to be removed by March 19 or they will be discarded.
VET SERVICES: Mahoning County Veterans Services Commission is offering free services to veterans with business being conducted by phone only. Services include temporary emergency financial assistance, utility assistance, van transportation to VA medical appointments, VA service for burial assistance, and VA services connected to disability claims. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday at 145 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown, at 330-240-2450.
