Farm hosting Christmas event

The seeing eye

FAMILY FUN NIGHT: Family Fun Night will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at White House Fruit Farm, 9249 state Route 62, Canfield. Children get the chance to make an ornament, hear Christmas stories, have fun taking an “elfie” and enjoy refreshments. Social distancing and masks will be observed. The event is $5 per child and registration is required.

STUFF THE BUS: The Youngstown Blue Coats and the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities is holding a winter coat and clothing drive from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Leonard Kirtz School parking lot, 4971 Woodridge Drive, Austintown. The Blue Coats are looking for coats, hoodies, sleeping bags, dry boots, winter gloves, hats, scarves, and new socks. For information call Linda at 330-707-2914. All donations are tax deductible.

RAFFLE SET: The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project’s 300 Reverse Raffle will be held Saturday at Tiffany’s Banquet Center in Brookfield. Tickets are $100 a piece for the event, but all of the money raised will go to help the organization which helps dogs.

Tickets can be purchased online at Healthy Hearts and Paws Project. People don’t have to be present at the event to win.
