Trunk-or-treat at the Covelli Centre
DRIVE-THRU TRUNK TREAT: Youngstown city will host a drive-thru “Boo-Yah” trunk-or-treat 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Covelli Centre, 229 E. Front St., in lieu of of traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating.
Vehicles will enter the Covelli Centre main entrance off East Front Street and drive through the directed path while collecting treats handed out from vendors.
Candy donations may be dropped off 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday at the parks and recreation department, 26 S. Phelps St., Youngstown.
Those attending, including in vehicles, must wear a facial covering in accordance with mask mandate.
There will be live music.

FALL DEADLINE: The Mahoning County Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Snapshots of Youngstown Fall 2020 promotion deadline is Saturday.
The goal of the interactive campaign is to invite the public to support local small businesses in Mahoning County during the pandemic, then share their experiences via photos. Participants are invited to give local businesses a “virtual high five” by patronizing them and documenting their visit.
There are seven different categories with suggestions on ways to support local businesses. Those who complete five of the seven categories — the virtual high five — and share their photos may enter for a chance to win one of 20 $25 gift cards to local Mahoning County businesses.
