GRAB AND GO: The Youngstown Parks and Recreation Department is offering Grab-N-Go Meals from noon to 1 p.m. today through Aug. 14 at Lynn Park, 1940 Lynn Ave., Youngstown, and John White Park, 2300 Kimmel St., Youngstown. Children ages 5 to 17 will receive two free meals daily.

The program is solely for pick-up. Meals will not be consumed on site. Families are encouraged to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19 by not congregating at the pick-up location.

Program location and times are subject to change. The summer food service program meals are sponsored by Children’s Hunger Alliance and will be available while supplies last.

VETERAN SERVICES: The Mahoning County Veterans Services Commission office is closed to the public to follow stay-at-home orders guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will conduct business for various services by phone only.
