Reopening begins with JCC camps

CAMP JCC OPEN: Camp JCC will open Monday and will be following mandatory and best practice guidelines recommended by Gov. Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health.

Camp JCC is for campers in grades 1-8. Campers participate in daily activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, sports, and swimming. Specialty camps that focus on a specific area of interest — Esports, Competitive Video Gaming Camp, 3D Printing Camp, Crayola Imagine Arts Academy, Artist’s Passport, and Horseback Riding Camp — are also available.

Housed at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, Camp JCC offers an indoor pool, gymnasium and an outdoor pavilion. Campers also will visit the Logan Campus, which includes an outdoor pool.

Camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Morning and afternoon extended care options are available. Camp JCC is open to the public, and provides a safe environment for campers to build lifelong friendships. Campers participate in activities that promote cultural awareness, encourage teamwork, and provide educational and recreational activities. For information or to register, visit jccyoungstown.org.

NARF CANCELS MEETING: The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 14 meeting scheduled for June 10 is canceled. For more information, contact Nancy at 330-953-0077.
