FAMILIES ASKED TO PLACE FLAGS: Every Memorial Day, the Mahoning County Veterans Service Commission traditionally recognizes the veterans who served their country by placing a flag upon their grave.
Unfortunately, this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group is unable to fulfill this obligation and is asking family members and friends of deceased veterans to recognize their loved ones’ service by placing a flag on their graves.
