Red Cross needs blood donors now

JCC TO HOST BLOOD DRIVE: The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown will host a blood drive 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the center, 505 Gypsy Lane. The Red Cross is experiencing a severe blood shortage. Donating blood is a safe process and people should not hesitate to give or receive blood. For information, visit jccyoungstown.org.

LIBERTY VOLUNTEERS: Liberty Township trustees are teaming up with area churches and the police department to help residents during the COVID-19 outbreak. Volunteers will help people who may need food or other deliveries while practicing social distancing. Anyone needing help can call one of the volunteers to pick up a curbside grocery order placed at a store in the township and the volunteers will deliver it.
