Carols, classics play in Poland

CHRISTMAS AT LIBRARY: Christmas Carols and Holiday Classics will welcome in the holiday season 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the Poland Library Branch, 311 S. Main St. There will be live music in the library’s large meeting room.

Holiday classics and carols will be performed by local guitarist Tyler Guerrieri and an accompanying vocalist. There will be hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies.

TOY DRIVE: A charity toy drive and comedy show will be held 8 p.m. Friday at Maennerchor Club Ballroom, 391 Dock St., Sharon, Pa. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The program is “A Night Of Adult Comedy To Benefit Kids In Need.” Admission is a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more, or a $10 donation per person. All proceeds go to the Sharon Salvation Army.

100-YEAR ANNIVERSARY: The Daughters of the Elks are hosting 100-year anniversary celebration for St. Mark’s Church, 3560 Loganway, Youngstown, at 3 p.m. Sunday.

CELEBRATE HOLIDAYS: Celebrate the Holidays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lepper Library in Lisbon. There will be crafts, stories and refreshments. The Village Singers will be performing at 12:15 p.m. singing Christmas songs, and then Santa will visit at 1 p.m.
