Seeing Eye: Model train show in Austintown gears up for weekend run

AUSTINTOWN OPEN HOUSE: The Youngstown Model Railroad Association will hold a model train open house from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and Dec. 7 and 8 at the association building, corner of Raccoon Road and Four Mile Run Road, Austintown.

There is a $5 donation per person, with children 11 and younger admitted free with an adult. For information visit www.ymra.org

COFFEE AND CONVERSATION: A Coffee and Conversation with Youngstown Counciltake place 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Flambeau’s, 2308 Market St., Youngstown. Various topics will be discussed.

GRIEF SEMINAR: The Bereavement Ministry of the Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave., Youngstown, will present a Grief Seminar 6 p.m. Tuesday. The special guest is Karen Lewis, a bereavement facilitator with Hospice of the Valley.

Coping with grief through the holidays and special days will be the focus of the seminar which is open to the public. No registration is required.
